Website build, branding identity and logomark design for Studio Pilz.

— 01 / Brief

Studio Pilz is an independent creative studio I run with my partner Liz. The brief was to give it a home on the web — a place to present the work, introduce the studio, and act as a testbed for new front-end tools and ideas.

— 02 / Approach

Built with Next.js, React and TypeScript, deployed on Vercel, with Sanity as a headless CMS so the studio can update content without touching code. The structure stays deliberately simple — a slow-motion video hero with a responsive ASCII shader, selected work, process notes, a small shop (in progress) and about/contact — all tuned for fast loads and a distinctive, understated feel.

— 03 / Outcome

The site launched as the studio's public face, holding its first body of work. Strong performance and a considered, restrained aesthetic set it apart, and the CMS-driven structure means it grows with the practice — no rebuild required.
