Website build, branding identity and logomark design for Studio Pilz.

— 01 / Brief

My partner Liz and I launched Studio Pilz in late 2025, debuting our creative coding and experimental AV installation work at Kunda Valley Festival. The brief was to create a home for the studio on the web - somewhere to showcase the work, introduce ourselves and experiment with new web tools.

— 02 / Approach

The site is built with Next.js, React, Typescript and hosted on Vercel. Sanity is the CMS, so the studio stays easy to update without touching code. The structure is deliberately simple: a slow video hero section with a responsive ASCII animation, selected work, projects and insight into the studio's process, a small shop (in development), and an about us and contact page.

— 03 / Outcome

The site went live as Studio Pilz's home on the web, holding our first body of work — the Zeitghost installations, Earth Dome, Super TV. Strong performance and a subtle stylish aesthetic give the studio a unique public face. It's an ongoing project: we add to it as the practice grows, keeping current without a rebuild each time.
